Rockland Country Club Guest Policy
 
We look forward to welcoming you and hope you have a wonderful day at Rockland Country Club.  The information below will help ensure your Rockland experience is enjoyable.
 
Arrival & Departure
Please confirm with your host your tee time and plan to arrive 30 minutes prior to.  Upon arrival, please check in with the starter and you will be directed to the locker room and practice facility accordingly.  Guest Lockers are provided for all guests, please do not change your shoes in the parking lot before or after golf.  As we are a private club, we are unable to accommodate guests after your host has left the Club, please depart the Club with your host.
 
Pace of Play
Please keep up with the group in front of you and adhere to the 4-hour pace of play.  If you are joining for a nine hole round the pace of play is 2 hours.  Maintaining the proper pace of play benefits your group as well as other players on the course.
 
Golf Course Etiquette
Rockland Country Club golf course is a treasure, and we need all golfers to follow proper course etiquette to maintain the pristine course conditions. Please remember to:
Always Rake Bunkers
Replace All Divots
Repair All Ball Marks
Keep Carts 60ft from Greens
 
Attire
Guests are requested to follow the Club’s dress code policy. 
 
GOLFING ATTIRE
  • Dress slacks, dress shorts, appropriate golf shirts – collar, turtleneck or mock turtleneck, that should be worn inside slacks or golf shorts.
  • Hats must be worn properly. Cargo pants and cargo shorts are not permitted on the golf course.
  • All golfing attire interpretations are subject to the final decision of the Golf Professional.
TENNIS ATTIRE
  • Proper tennis attire only may be worn, with regulation tennis shoes – no basketball or jogging sneakers. Jeans, bathing suits or casual wear is not permitted.
 
 
CLUBHOUSE ATTIRE
  • Regardless of gender, the following rules apply to the Garden Room, Living Room Area and Main Dining Room, unless specified in a Special Event Flyer under dress code or at the discretion of Management.
  • Tennis attire, pool attire and sports hats are not permitted at any time while dining.
  • Children 12 and older are required to follow the same dress code as adults. Children under the age of 12 can wear denim throughout the dining areas, accompanied by a collared shirt.
MEN’S DRESS CODE
  • No jacket or tie required. Collared shirt, turtle or mock turtlenecks are required for men.
  • Shirts without a collar must be accompanied by a jacket. Camp shirts (squared tailored bottom) may be worn outside the pants.
  • Polo Shirts must be tucked in at all times when in the Club House or on the Golf Course.
  • Tennis attire, shorts and jeans are permitted in the Grill Room only.
  • Jackets are only required in the main dining room when specified on a function announcement.
  • Hats of any kind are not permitted in the dining room areas located on the main level of the Club House.
  • Flip-flops, slippers, or shower shoes are not permitted on the upper dining level of the Clubhouse.
  • Cargo pants or shorts are not permitted in the clubhouse or golf course.
LADIES DRESS CODE
  • Sports hats & visors are not permitted in the dining rooms located on the main level of the clubhouse. Only Ladies dress hats are permitted.
  • Flip flops, slippers, shower shoes are not permitted on the dining level of the Clubhouse.
  • Unacceptable ladies attire - camisole tops, tube tops, crop tops or bra type tops, bare midriffs and low cut jeans.
  • Ladies slacks and shorts must be worn at the waistline.
  • All shirts and blouses should be tucked in unless designed to be worn on the outside. (i.e. banded shirts or blouses)
  • Tennis attire is permitted in the Grill Room at all times.
  • Traditional golf shorts, tennis skirts or golf skirts of appropriate length consistent with current fashion are permitted in the Grill Room.
The following pertains to all including children under the age of 12. Other attire such as patched trousers, spandex, ski pants, sweat pants, logoed T-shirts, football shirts, fishnet shirts, cut-down trousers, or other similar garments, will not be permitted on the golf course or in the Clubhouse. Sports hats or Visors are not permitted on the upper level of the Clubhouse.
 
 Electronic Devices
Cell Phone usage is only permitted on the Terrace, Front Porch and Locker Room level of the clubhouse.
